Coggins and Health Certificates
We now offer electronic Coggins and Health Certificates for traveling. This updated format allows us to email your copies and results directly to you in a legible format with color photos of your horse for permanent record. Once the record is in place, updates simply require a blood test on a yearly basis. A negative Coggins test (a.k.a. EIA) is required for interstate travel along with a health certificate. Most Coggins tests are valid for 6-12 months depending on the state of destination. The Health Certificate is valid for 30 days. Some shows and boarding facilities also require a negative Coggins. STAT Coggins can be performed most days of the week.
