Dr. Greg Smith
Dr. Greg Smith is a 1976 graduate of Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Smith started ECLAP in 1981 out of his garage in his Santee home. He moved to Blossom Valley in 1983 where the clinic remains today. A new clinic (the barn) was finished in 1987 which still serves as the office. Dr. Smith’s extended interests are in lamenesses, reproduction, and surgery.

Dr. Craig Chandler
Dr. Chandler is a 1983 graduate of Colorado State University, and joined ECLAP in 1987 after spending three years practicing in central, and chilly, Idaho. His areas of special interest include dentistry and preventative medicine, lameness evaluation, dermatology, and reproduction. Primary areas of focus are his wife, Lisa, son, Carson, and daughter, Jenna. Recreation time is spent with a road bike, a mountain bike, and a camera.

Dr. Daniel Oman
Daniel Oman graduated from Oregon State University in 2002. He then completed a one year internship at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital before starting at ECLAP in 2003. Dr. Oman's areas of interest are in lameness, diagnostic ultrasound, radiology, and surgery. He and his new wife, two dogs and a cat reside in La Mesa.

Dr. Carlisle Rand
Carlisle Rand graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. She completed a yearlong internship at Peninsula Equine Medical Center in Menlo Park and recently moved to San Diego to join her new husband. Her professional interests include lameness and diagnostic imaging. Outside of work she enjoys going to the beach with her husband and their black Lab puppy, skiing, learning to sail, and of course, riding.
