Welcome to East County Large Animal Practice.
We are a mobile Large Animal Practice with 5 veterinarians and a central clinic. Our practice serves all of East San Diego County from the Mexico border North to Del Mar and from the coast East to Boulevard. Approximately 95% of the practice is dedicated to horses and the remaining 5% is comprised of cattle, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, and pigs. Our practice provides breeding and foaling services, pre-purchase examinations, radiographs, ultrasounds, gastroscopies, general maintenance, castrations, lameness evaluations, dentistry, and we have hospitalization available. We are available for Saturday appointments and provide 24 hour emergency service.

ECLAP is located in El Cajon near San Diego, California. We are in East County, just off the Interstate 8 Freeway at the Lake Jennings Exit approximately halfway between the El Cajon city limits and Alpine. Our office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
